faster lies

there is this technique out there called photo scratching. heard of it? neither had i until the photographer who took the original photo, which would be this [link] , told me about it and made me an offer i simply could not refuse, that is after i got into the groove of things at king's confectionery.

so, basically, what we did here is took a moderately large print of the original (something like 14x8 inches) and did a bit of scratching and painting on it. i've yet to see what photo scratching actually is, which is a good thing considering that that way i had more liberty while working with this one. i'm uploading this 'cause i think i poured some of my thoughts onto the surface. yeah, sounds strange to me too.
